Know a place that belongs
on the map?

Parishes and chapels, schools, seminaries and religious houses, ministries, Catholic businesses, and businesses owned by Catholics — if it's in Irving, we want it listed. Every listing is free, and always will be.

Fill this out and it lands in one inbox for review. Nothing goes live automatically; a real person reads each one, checks the details, and adds it — usually within a week or two.

Two ways to send it. Use the form below, or just email everything to ryan@salesfamily.net — photos as attachments is perfectly fine. There's a copy-and-paste checklist at the bottom of this page if you'd rather write an email.

Irving only. This directory covers the City of Irving — including Las Colinas and Valley Ranch. Wonderful places in Dallas, Grand Prairie, Coppell, and Farmers Branch are out of scope, and we do have to say no to them.

1

Where do people find it?

This decides whether the listing gets a pin on the map or a card in the online section.

2

The basics

The name as it should appear, and where it fits in the directory.

The web address will be irving-catholic.net/listing.html?id=…

Category*

Not sure between the last two? A rosary maker is a Catholic Business; a Catholic who runs a plumbing company is Catholic Owned.

3

Address & map pin

The pin is what puts it on the map. Search the address, then nudge the marker onto the actual door if it lands in the parking lot.

Full street address, including the ZIP.

Exact location*

Click Find this address, or click anywhere on the map to place the pin yourself. Drag it to fine-tune.

No pin placed yet

The dashed outline is the Irving city limit. The pin has to sit inside it.

Written however makes sense — office hours, campus hours, shop hours.

4

How would you describe it?

Two pieces of writing: one line for the map, one paragraph for the listing page. Write them the way you'd describe the place to a friend.

Shown on the map pin, the sidebar card, and search results. Aim for under 100 characters.

Three or four sentences is perfect. This is the “About” paragraph on the listing page.

5

How do people reach them?

Everything here is optional, but the more you fill in, the more useful the listing is.

Only if they're happy to have it published.

Photos

This is the single most helpful thing you can send. Listings without photos show a plain coloured card — with them, the page comes alive.

What fits where: the banner runs across the top of the listing page, so landscape works best — a church façade, a storefront, a campus shot. The three smaller photos sit in a row underneath: interiors, details, people, product, whatever tells the story.

Any decent phone photo is fine. Under 5 MB each, please — bigger files can go by email.

Banner photo — wide / landscape, roughly 1600 × 900

Three smaller photosoptional

Three smaller photos — landscape 4:3 looks best

Printed under the banner if you give one.

Handy if you have a lot of them, or files too big to upload.

Rather just send an email?

Completely fine. Email ryan@salesfamily.net with photos attached and cover as much of this as you can:
